Talk, listen, heal, repeat. If you are sick of your own shit, it’s time to take that first step to begin the healing process.
Leslie Albion, LCPC
I’m Glad You Are Here
Welcome
I’m Leslie and I am a licensed clinical professional counselor with over 10 years of experience working with teens/pre-teens, adults and young adults, and couples. I am passionate about what I do and truly believe I learn as much from my clients, as I hope they learn from me! I am honored to be the guide on your journey. But here’s the thing… although I’m a therapist, I understand the oftentimes awkward or uncomfortable process therapy can be! I often use humor in session to ease the discomfort, but also to make a genuine connection with my clients. I might not be your “average” therapist, but I will be your cheerleader, call out the bullshit, boost your strengths, and be the honest “older sister” if you need that. Let’s chat!
ADHD & Anxiety Specialist Supporting: women and LGBTQ community
I work with a variety of clients struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, women’s issues, etc. My specialty area is women struggling with ADHD and anxiety. These issues oftentimes transfer into relationship struggles, struggles processing trauma, and struggling within systems built by and for a neurotypical world. In addition to this I have worked extensively with LGBTQ young adults and youth in the past and consider this another large portion of my work.
UNDERSTANDING THE SIGNS
Does this sound like you?
CARRYING TOO MUCH
Anxiety, self-doubt, or past wounds feel heavy, leaving you disconnected from the person you once knew yourself to be.
CAUGHT IN THE CYCLE
Overthinking, fear, and exhaustion keep looping, and all you want is to feel a sense of ease again.
LONGING TO RECONNECT
Deep down, you’re yearning to rediscover your true self - the confidence, clarity, and wholeness you know is still there.
01
SOCIAL JUSTICE INFORMED CARE
Therapy is transformative when you feel safe. This safety can help empower you to change or become aware of systems that impact you. Many challenges we experience are rooted in power imbalances that create experiences of marginalization. True social justice informed care seeks to challenge systems and uplift your voice.
How I can help
02
TRAUMA-INFORMED CARE
Trauma informed care is not just a buzzword, but an approach that takes into consideration a supportive environment where you can feel heard, respected, and in control of the therapeutic process.
